I always try to make people feel welcome and when they make a mistake to really reassure them that it’s no big deal with a hearty “oh my gosh, no worries at all!” (example: I’m so sorry I’m late or I’m so sorry I forgot X item). I found this type of warmth being from the Midwest. Texans are definitely nice too (at least in Austin lol) but there are some Midwest things worth hanging on to!
I like that when I’m dissatisfied by something in my life I make the effort to change things and really believe in my ability to change and grow. Also, I love how muscular I am
I am a really good friend to everyone! Friends I’ve had forever, newer friends, I would do anything for them. I am also very good at picking up new artsy skills and getting good at them quickly! Cookie decorating, pottery, knitting, really anything artsy!
I love my capacity to be delighted by both the big and small every day! I am unabashedly earnest about the books I’m reading, what I’m working on, my friends’ success, my daily cup of coffee, all of it.
