This is my #1 anxiety trigger, I fear parking!

When I have a picture in my mind of what I want to bake and it doesn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I don't care if it still "looks great" or "tastes wonderful" I had a vision!!

Having the doctor yet again tell you, “Welp, that’s all we can do.”

Lauren Stirling's avatar

Yeah, like getting a blood test or other test result back when you have clear symptoms that something is happening, but the test comes back fine, and the doctor tells you that you're all clear as if that's a good thing! It technically IS a good thing, in a way, but it doesn't explain your symptoms and that's SO frustrating. Happens to me multiple times a year so I feel ya.

Nōn Wels's avatar

Omg yes. My life! And I’m so sorry. It’s so frustrating. Intersectionality matters deeply in this too. Me as a white, cis guy, there’s a difference for a person of color or even just the gaslighting that happens for women in medical spaces. And so on! The whole system is bleh.

Lauren Stirling's avatar

Absolutely agree, and I'm sorry for your experiences too. There are different levels of privilege within the medical system, which is ridiculous. I'm in Australia and our healthcare system has some huge positives, but we still have the same issues where the medical gaslighting is appalling if you're not cis, white and wealthy. It's so frustrating!

Nōn Wels's avatar

So frustrating. 💙

Something that you ordered from a restaurant not being what you expected from the description... but you have to eat it anyway cause you paid for it.

Hannah J's avatar

LOL I'm usually the one jiggling the leg. I CAN'T HELP IT! haha! Sorry!!

I know it's a normal human response but it totally bugs me for some reason.

Hannah J's avatar

TOTALLY! lol ironically, it bothers me when other people do it 😂🤣

Glasses fogging up in the winter 😭

SweetE423's avatar

And glasses fogging up when wearing a mask! I didn't mind wearing a mask during the pandemic (still wear one if I'm not feeling well), but the fogginess all the time really irritated me.
