When I have a picture in my mind of what I want to bake and it doesn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I don't care if it still "looks great" or "tastes wonderful" I had a vision!!
Yeah, like getting a blood test or other test result back when you have clear symptoms that something is happening, but the test comes back fine, and the doctor tells you that you're all clear as if that's a good thing! It technically IS a good thing, in a way, but it doesn't explain your symptoms and that's SO frustrating. Happens to me multiple times a year so I feel ya.
Omg yes. My life! And I’m so sorry. It’s so frustrating. Intersectionality matters deeply in this too. Me as a white, cis guy, there’s a difference for a person of color or even just the gaslighting that happens for women in medical spaces. And so on! The whole system is bleh.
Absolutely agree, and I'm sorry for your experiences too. There are different levels of privilege within the medical system, which is ridiculous. I'm in Australia and our healthcare system has some huge positives, but we still have the same issues where the medical gaslighting is appalling if you're not cis, white and wealthy. It's so frustrating!
And glasses fogging up when wearing a mask! I didn't mind wearing a mask during the pandemic (still wear one if I'm not feeling well), but the fogginess all the time really irritated me.
Not using a turn signal in the car (blinker, whatever you call it), when turning!!! It is a courtesy to those drivers around you and costs you nothing!
As someone who commutes 2 hrs a day, people in left lane that do not move for other drivers but speed up so you cant pass.. then slow down again once I know you’re trapped.
A friend who habitually throws themed parties. Lots of games with teams that don't allow you to spend time with the person you came with. Relay races in the summer...
When I place my hands at not-the-right intuitive spot for the washing hands moment and experience equal vexation when the soap dispenser also can't see my outstretched at-last wet palms.
Work clients that need a lot of hand-holding. Nobody walks me gently through any of my responsibilities, so having to baby full grown adults bothers me.
Also: wet jeans from rain.
going to a new place for the first time and not having any idea of the parking situation
This is my #1 anxiety trigger, I fear parking!
Stepping in water with socks on. Especially right next to the dogs’ water bowl.

I feel this soooo hard
Having the doctor yet again tell you, “Welp, that’s all we can do.”
