I was planning to write a post about my love for love, but then I thought maybe I’d just make you a list of some of my favorite every day expressions of it (not constrained to the romantic kind). Please add yours in the comments!

some notable (and less notable) things

Unsurprisingly, another shitty thing is going down here in Texas. The same anti-abortion group that brought the case that overturned Roe is now suing the FDA to get them to reverse their approval of the drug mifepristone, one of the two drugs typically used in medication abortions. Note: this ruling would ban mifepristone in every state, not just Texas. And, of course, the federal judge hearing the case is a Trump-appointed anti-abortion (& anti-birth control) pile of trash. The ruling has currently been delayed to at least February 24th, but in the meantime consider learning about the misoprostol only protocol for medication abortion.

In a prestigious butler academy, passionate Emma and rebellious Henry train to become royal butlers where the competition is fierce and sparks fly.
- pros: Medium-good banter, an opportunity to learn tidbits about fine dining/service, pretty scenery, Emma (the lead) wears a suit basically the entire time
- cons: Because he is a legacy baby, Henry (the other lead) “teaches” Emma butlering skills as a currently enrolled (yet unwilling) student in the academy. Features men in charge and a misleading claim involving “days off” amidst opening a restaurant
- verdict: 5.5/10
