A book swap to connect readers who want to give with orgs that need copies
Hi friends,
I spend a lot of time thinking about access. To abortion care itself, of course, but also to good information and unconditional support. There’s a huge need, and I wrote The Abortion Companion: An Affirming Handbook for Your Choice and Your Journey to help fill the gap.
As I’ve been promoting the book, lots of people have asked me how they can help (I’m so grateful for this community!). Not everyone needs a copy of The Abortion Companion right now, but lots of people are willing to help someone else. Not everyone can afford to buy The Abortion Companion right now, but lots of people need it.
So, we’re doing a book swap!
If you want to donate:
Fill out this form. I’ll match you with a recipient organization and send you their shipping info. You’ll buy and ship copies to the org directly.
If you’re an organization (clinics, funds, practical support networks, clubs, academic groups, abortion doulas, etc) that would like books:

What you do with them is completely up to you! But here are some ideas to get you started: add it to your free little library, use as a staff resource, put a copy in your waiting room, pop it on the shelf as a visual affirmation, get a traveling copy for the car, etc.
I’m just the matchmaker! Y’all are doing all the actual work of getting books into hands that need them. Know someone who might want to join and donate a copy? Know an organization that might want books? Please share this email with them.
