For You
because you’re a gift
This olivewood-handled Williams Sonoma whisk ($34.95) is the only one I use. I’ve tried lots, and this is the best one.
A Nuuly subscription ($98/month), where you can rent 6 normally prohibitively expensive items of clothing per month. This is my third month using it and I’ve had so much fun - I love the access to Free People sweaters and the novelty of getting new things (and then returning them when I inevitably grow bored). Plus, people will compliment you on your cool clothes. They have Rachel Antonoff stuff!! Use my referral link for $30 off the first month.
I’m pretty sure I talk about this sleep mask ($7.99) every year, but that’s because I use it every single night. It’s not especially durable (you have to replace it like twice a year), but it blocks light completely while being very comfortable (there’s a padded flexible wire around the bridge of your nose). And they’ve recently added pretty colors!
I bought myself these sparkly boots ($49.99) from Target and have found multiple occasions to wear them even though I spend the vast majority of my time wearing Tevas. They are comfortable for what they are (short event wear only!).
A cute lil French hair pin ($14.29) for Valentine’s season.
A stained glass pet portrait of your bff ($160) - this will arrive after the holidays, but that’s okay - it’s for you!
And lastly: A bidet. I’m serious. Really any bidet, but we got one online for like $20.
Secret Santa on a budget
under $35 picks
A package of fancy pasta (~$4), a mini bottle of fancy olive oil ($20), and L’Isolina Pasta’s Spaghetti Dust ($10), a ready-to-go tube of travelling Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino. From L’Isolina: “The idea is that you drain your al dente pasta and toss it in a bowl with your Spaghetti Dust and ≈ 1/3 cup of high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil, then serve immediately at the table or, if it's been a late night, you consume it entirely and directly on the kitchen counter.”
A neutral colored muslin blanket that makes you feel swaddled like a baby (I promise it’s not a weird gift!) - I have this one ($26.89). Botie accidentally a chewed a hole in it, but I still use it!
I feel like this Pink Pony Club beanie ($34) from my fave, A Shop Of Things, works for a lot of people.
This I Heart Women necklace ($30) from Peach Fuzz Co, for anyone who loves women. Also pretty much anything else from Peach Fuzz (really, they have such great stuff).
xoxo,
