I’m pretty sure I talk about this sleep mask ($7.99) every year, but that’s because I use it every single night. It’s not especially durable (you have to replace it like twice a year), but it blocks light completely while being very comfortable (there’s a padded flexible wire around the bridge of your nose). And they’ve recently added pretty colors!
I bought myself these sparkly boots ($49.99) from Target and have found multiple occasions to wear them even though I spend the vast majority of my time wearing Tevas. They are comfortable for what they are (short event wear only!).

Secret Santa on a budget
under $35 picks
A package of fancy pasta (~$4), a mini bottle of fancy olive oil ($20), and L’Isolina Pasta’s Spaghetti Dust ($10), a ready-to-go tube of travelling Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino. From L’Isolina: “The idea is that you drain your al dente pasta and toss it in a bowl with your Spaghetti Dust and ≈ 1/3 cup of high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil, then serve immediately at the table or, if it's been a late night, you consume it entirely and directly on the kitchen counter.”
A neutral colored muslin blanket that makes you feel swaddled like a baby (I promise it’s not a weird gift!) - I have this one ($26.89). Botie accidentally a chewed a hole in it, but I still use it!
